Cam's letter

Dear Mom and Dad,
Today I learned so much about baking!  Amy Driscoll taught us a lot about how to make loaves of bread, how to braid bread, pretzels, cinnamon buns, and how to throw a pizza!  That was by far my favorite.  It was even cooler to be a helper for Amy Driscoll.  We first added warm water, sugar and yeast.  Then we added whole wheat flour. She taught us how to measure flour the correct way.  Then oil and salt.  Then we added 1 more cup of whole wheat flour.  The next step was to add the all-purpose flour.  We left 1 cup of that flour out, to work with later.  We learned how to knead the bread.  We used the flour left over so it wouldn't stick.  Instead of waiting an hour and a half, there was already a made dough to make into different things.  This day was by far a great experience and I can't wait to go home and make more!
Sincerely,
Cam
